The ice-blue dial is decorated with grain patterns. Starting from the small seconds dial at 6 o'clock, the three-dimensional decorative round window geometric pattern repeats, which is very distinctive. The minute track of the dial is decorated with a circle of exquisite wave pattern frame. The dial pattern is created by guilloché, that is, using a turning tool to carve a pattern on the surface of an object. This dial design combines Rolex's expertise and creative ingenuity, while also paying tribute to traditional watchmaking art, adding another masterpiece to the Perpetual series. Like the 18K gold watch, the dial of the Perpetual 1908 950 in platinum is equipped with Arabic numerals 3, 9 and 12, as well as the same faceted hour markers and hands.
This unique dial color is only used on the Day-Date, Cosmograph Daytona and Perpetual 1908 models.
